14th December – Double Launch – WdW Center for Contemporary Art

Join us on Saturday, December 14th at Witte de With, for the launch of our two-part publication on Art Practices of/for Justice. Featuring a screening of Minia Biabiany’s short film ‘Blue Spelling, a change of perspective is a change of temporality’ (2017), and an intervention by Cooperativa Cráter Invertido, an artist-activist collective based in Mexico City.

The issues launched at the event, “Radical Imaginings” and “Contesting Histories”, are parts one and two of an investigation led by managing editor Aline Hernández, on the topic of Art Practices of/for Justice. They focus on alternative ways of contesting, imagining, and pursuing justice through art-related practices.

The event is co-organized with Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, and takes place at MELLY, their ground floor gallery space.
